Translators: English to Arabic, Ukrainian, Farsi and French. Responsible for translating short to medium sized text documents such as:  registration forms, program guidelines, household food allocation charts, and other general documents like posters or infographic. We have a pressing need for volunteers to complete some documents now and there is a need for occasional ongoing translation support. All volunteer hours can be completed off site if preferred.

Food Bank Delivery Receivers: Responsible to work as part of a team to physically receive the food delivery order from the Ottawa Food Bank. Processing the delivery from pallets that are dropped at our main door, usually takes between 20-30 minutes. Due to the delivery window being 9-11am, we ask that you are available for that time (often less).  This is a physical job and would require you to lift, carry and occasionally use stairs. Food bank deliveries take place on the first 4 Tuesdays of the month. Volunteer 1-4 times per month.
